Who is behind KLLAW?
My name is Lykia, and KLLAW is my brand. It grew out of years spent collecting, studying, and genuinely loving handbags. I design every piece myself, from the silhouette to the color, and I partner with skilled artisans in Italy who bring each one to life by hand. KLLAW began with a question I kept returning to about my own collection, which was what is missing, and this brand became the answer.

What makes KLLAW different from other luxury brands?
KLLAW is luxury made by hand, with quality at the center of every piece. Every leather bag is cut, constructed, and finished by skilled artisans in Italy, then shipped to you from Italy, so what arrives carries its origin in every stitch. I work in classic silhouettes that hold their beauty over the years, then bring them to life in color and in leathers and fabrics chosen for how they feel as much as how they look. It is in the details that the difference becomes obvious, the weight of the leather, the way a seam lays, the hardware that feels substantial in your hand. That is the point of view you will not find anywhere else at this level.

Where are KLLAW bags made?
Every leather piece is made in Italy by artisans who have spent years perfecting their craft. I design the bags, and they construct them by hand, one at a time. The leather is sourced and finished in Italy, and that origin is inseparable from the quality of the finished piece.

Why does a KLLAW bag cost what it does?
The price reflects precisely what goes into the bag. Italian leather, an artisan investing real hours in constructing your piece by hand, and a design refined until it was right. You are paying for the object itself, made properly, in a colorway that exists nowhere else at this level, rather than for a name you end up advertising.

This is my first time ordering from KLLAW. How do I know the quality is there?
It is a fair question, and one I have asked as a buyer myself. Every leather piece is handmade in Italy by artisans who have done this for years, using leather sourced and finished there. I built KLLAW to stand beside the brands I have collected and trusted for a long time, and I do not release a piece I would not carry myself. If you would like to discuss it before ordering, write to me and I will answer you personally.

THE BAGS AND THE CRAFT

What does made to order mean?
When you place an order for a leather piece, that is the moment your bag begins. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting. The leather is cut, the piece is assembled, and the stitching is completed by hand, for you specifically. It takes longer than pulling something from a shelf, and that is precisely the value. What arrives was made because you wanted it.

How long will my bag take to arrive?
Because each leather piece is made to order, please allow six weeks for your bag to be constructed. Once your bag is constructed it is shipped within 5 business days. It is a genuine investment of time, and it reflects the reality of handwork done well. What reaches your door was built by hand from the very first cut. What are the totes?
Each tote is a collaboration with a local artist, printed on sustainable canvas and released in limited numbered runs. This collaboration is with MyFathersOldCamera, whose work you can find at myfathersoldcamera.com. Together we brought the Birds of Prey, Floral, and Donut prints to life, as art you can carry every day.

ORDERING, SHIPPING, AND RETURNS

How much does shipping cost?
For our leather handbags, shipping and any duties are covered, so the price you see is the price you pay. For all other pieces, including the totes, standard shipping rates apply at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. At present KLLAW ships within the United States, and international shipping is something we are working toward. If you are outside the US, join the Bag Girl Club and you will be among the first to know when that changes.

What is your return policy?
You have seven days from the day your piece arrives to reach out about a return. Review our detailed return policy here. 

Can I see a KLLAW bag in person before I order?
Yes. I host gallery events and moments where the full collection is on display, and the surest way to hear about them first is to join the Bag Girl Club. If you have a specific piece in mind and would like more detail beforehand, write to me at info@kllawllc.com and I will send you everything from measurements to how the leather feels in hand.

CARE

How do I care for my leather bag?
Treat it as you would anything made to last. Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight and moisture, store it in the dust bag it arrives in, and allow the leather to breathe. Italian leather deepens and grows more beautiful with wear, so a few soft marks over time are part of the story rather than a flaw. Review our Product Care page for additional information.
